ENTRY GUIDE
Start your Entry Process
The entry process is designed to be straightforward. The strongest submissions are specific: they explain the challenge, what the bank did, what was distinctive about the approach and what changed as a result.
Entries are submitted through the online portal. Your work can be saved as you go, so you do not need to complete the submission in one session.

What evidence should you include?
Use the measures that best prove the result. Depending on the category, this could include customer numbers and active usage, deposits or balances, lending and asset quality, transaction volumes, conversion, retention, revenue, cost-to-serve, processing time, service levels, fraud losses, complaint outcomes, employee metrics or other quantified results.
Where exact numbers are commercially sensitive, provide indexed growth, percentage change, ranges or other meaningful evidence. Context matters: tell judges the baseline, the period measured and what the result represents.
FAQs
Yes. Institutions should enter all categories for which they have a strong and distinct case. Each category is judged independently.
Yes. Re-using evidence is acceptable where relevant, but the written case should be tailored to the criteria and purpose of each category.
Entry is free.
For 2027, we have introduced 15 new bank-technology implementation award categories to recognise technology providers delivering measurable results through successful partnerships with retail banks.
Technology providers may submit entries in these categories, provided the solution has been implemented by a participating bank and the submission demonstrates clear evidence of its impact. Entries must meet the eligibility requirements of the relevant category.
Yes. Commercially sensitive information submitted for judging is treated in strict confidence and is not published without permission.
Clarity and proof. Explain the problem, the response, what was genuinely distinctive and the measurable result. Unsupported claims of innovation are less persuasive than specific evidence.
Yes. Recognition is not automatic. If the panel does not believe the entries meet the required standard, it may choose not to name a winner.
